Anyone work in healthcare in Viera West?

Hey folks, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $98,107 in Viera West. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $539,000, which is pretty steep. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 5 years. Moved from Portland for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is average. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
engineering is strong here. tech is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor scene is solid - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Traffic during rush hour is rough. Not a lot of cultural diversity. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 5/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- The weather scene is average

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
