Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 40s, and It's a a small town city with about 17,169 people. The median home value here is around $539,000, which is pretty steep. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
