Viera West quality of life -am I missing something?
Random thought, I'm a remote worker and With a population of 17,169, Viera West is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I work in consulting here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is pretty good. Definitely worth checking out..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value food scene, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely improving and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
