Working in View Park-Windsor Hills -salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and The unemployment rate is 6.1%, which is concerning. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
