What's it really like living in Villa Rica?

I'm a remote worker and It's a a small town city with about 17,798 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Raleigh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..
