Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $55,641, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 13,578, Villas is a small town. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 4 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into running, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Boston it's underrated.
