Biggest downsides of living in Vincennes?
Random thought, I've been here for 17 years and Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $98,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
