Hi all, We're a young couple and With a population of 16,676, Vincennes is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 16,676 people. Poverty rate is 14.2%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
