Honest thoughts on life in Vincent

Hi all, Crime rate is something to consider -Vincent sits at 342.2 per 100K. Homes are going for about $609,900 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
