Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 14 months ago and Rent is about $1,984/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Is this normal for Vineyard? Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
