Vineyard housing prices -when will it stop?

We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $1,984 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 42,645 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Vineyard sits at 381.7 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Lack of diversity
- Boring for young people
Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Denver it's surprisingly good.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is challenging in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much growing but now it's decent.
