Living in Vinita -the reality

First post here. I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Vinita sits at 205.9 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking this?

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
