Moving to Vinton with kids -good idea?

Alright, Poverty rate is 7.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $939/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Vinton? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..
