Day-to-day life in Virginia Beach, VA
Anyone else feel this way? Poverty rate is 6.6%, which is pretty low. With a population of 457K, Virginia Beach is a mid-size city. Homes are going for about $366,300 on average. Household incomes average around $90,685 in Virginia Beach. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Let me know your thoughts. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
