Is Vista walkable?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 98,646 people. Rent is about $2,148/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $91,854, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up.
