Just moved here 7 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Vista sits at 346.3 per 100K. Median household income is $91,854, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,148/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Houston about 4 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Winters are long and cold

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are growing, gas is decent.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..
