I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider — Waco sits at 571.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.
