Hi all, It's a a mid-size city city with about 142K people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 6 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor recreation is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
