So, My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Waconia sits at 21.7 per 100K. Median household income is $104,929, which feels pretty solid for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
