Rent vs buy in Waikele -what makes sense?

Alright, I'm single, late 20s, and Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $111,971, which feels pretty solid for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this?

I've lived in South for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- The cultural scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
