How are the schools in Waimea CDP (Hawaii County)?

The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $89,268 in Waimea CDP (Hawaii County). Average temperature is around 79--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 10,242, Waimea CDP (Hawaii County) is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I've lived in Riverside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries
- The housing market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is tough in most areas.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
