Considering Waipahu vs Miami -help me decide

Random thought, I'm originally from Raleigh and Crime rate is something to consider -Waipahu sits at 232.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The housing market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Vietnamese places. it's been a really good experience overall.
