Is Waite Park good for remote workers?

Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 10 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
