Wake Forest in the winter -how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $120,777 in Wake Forest. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Let me know your thoughts. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- The public transit scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..
