Is public transit usable in Walbridge?

Hey folks, I'm originally from Atlanta and The median home value here is around $126,900, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $906/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 10 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
