Is Walhalla still affordable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $176,500 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

I've lived in Westside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The safety scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..
