Walker Valley is underrated, change my mind

Curious what people think. With a population of 1,695, Walker Valley is a small town. Median household income is $96,429, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 1,695 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do? TIA! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Salt Lake City it's improving.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The dating scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in The Heights for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The walkability scene is tough

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Winters are long and cold

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.
