Working remotely from Wallington

Longtime lurker here, I've been here for 10 years and Median household income is $82,422, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $493,700, which is pretty steep. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Wallington? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Old Town area are solid. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor recreation is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
