Housing market in Walnut right now

I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Walnut sits at 126.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Riverside for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The community vibe scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
