Cheapest neighborhoods in Walnut Creek?

We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $2,613 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I've lived in West for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The dating scene scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2017 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
