Freelancing from Walnut Creek -experience?

First post here. I've been here for 20 years and You can expect to pay around $2,613 for rent here. Household incomes average around $135,665 in Walnut Creek. The median home value here is around $1,031,100, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,613/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The housing market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
