Hey, I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 5.5%, which is about average. It's a a small town city with about 15,446 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I work in marketing here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is average. Definitely worth checking out..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 9 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
