Best hidden gems in Waltham

Hi all, I'm a teacher here and It's a a smaller city city with about 64,723 people. Household incomes average around $116,560 in Waltham. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What do you all think?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Greenfield. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like sushi.
