Housing market in Waltham right now

First post here. Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $705,700 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Phoenix it's surprisingly good.
