Is Waltham getting better or worse?

OK so Median household income is $116,560, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in The Heights. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
