Is Wanamassa worth it salary-wise?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What do you all think? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'm a software engineer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good airport with direct flights
- The weather scene is decent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in retail. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Indian.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Greenfield. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in education. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Definitely worth checking out..
