Cheapest neighborhoods in Wanaque?
Hey folks, Is this normal for Wanaque? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
