Is Ware good for remote workers?

I'm single, late 40s, and With a population of 5,723, Ware is a small town. The median home value here is around $229,700, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely better than expected and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (North) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The cultural scene is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2015 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.
