I've been looking at the stats and Warner Robins shows a violent crime rate of 548 per 100K which is above average. But stats don't always tell the full story. For people who actually live there — do you feel safe? Are there areas to avoid?
I'm especially interested in hearing from women living alone.

Don't sleep on Southside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Highland Park. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

I've lived in Eastside for 11 years and it's decent, has its pros and cons.
