Rent vs buy in Warr Acres -what makes sense?

Alright, Just moved here 8 months ago and You can expect to pay around $925 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Uptown. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Hope this helps!.

I'm a HR manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
