Thinking about relocating to Warr Acres from Denver

Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 8 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Atlanta about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is solid.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
