Anyone regret moving to Warren AFB?

Hey folks, My partner and I are Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,470/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in consulting. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2023 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.
