What Warren does better than anywhere else

Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $86,400 on average. With a population of 5,342, Warren is a small town. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Miami about 4 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.
