Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. With a population of 9,273, Warren is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 5 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Used to live on the Old Town side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
