OK so I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $64,400, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 6.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $64,400 in Warrenton. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great sushi places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 3 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Westside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
- The outdoor recreation scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
