We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Meadowbrook area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in legal. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
