Housing in Warwick compared to Boston
Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 55-year-old electrician and You can expect to pay around $1,242 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 6,625 people. Household incomes average around $81,250 in Warwick. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Good job market
- Low taxes
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Chain restaurants dominate
