Leaving LA for Washington - talk me into/out of it

For context, I work remote and chose Washington specifically for the lifestyle. Unemployment at 4.6% is {unemp_feel}. The weather took some getting used to but I actually love it now. Is this just me?

I've been in U Street for 7 years and Downtown has improved dramatically since I first moved here.. Nightlife is decent if you know where to go.

Worked in legal here for 1 years. I've never felt unsafe walking around {hood} at night.. The market is excellent right now if you're in that field.
