Hi all, Military spouse here. Median household income is $47,946, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $96,600, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $786/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
