Is Washington good for remote workers?

I've been here for 11 years and Poverty rate is 11.7%, which is around average. It's a a small town city with about 12,192 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
